Park Info: Only minutes from metro Halifax/Dartmouth, Laurie Provincial Park is the perfect escape from the urban rush, yet the park is close enough for day trips in to visit the many attractions found in the metro area. The quiet lakeside setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities including camping, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, and swimming.
Facilities and Services
The park has 71 woodland campsites, a large picnic area, and trailer dump station. There is a small unsupervised beach on Shubenacadie-Grand Lake. Oakfield Provincial Park, just a few kilometers north, offers a large open picnic area, boat launch and beautiful sand beach ideal for family swimming.
WiFi is available at the admin building and surrounding area. Password required, please see the park receptionist.
