Making Reservations
Individual / Family Camping
Nova Scotia Camping Parks will be accepting reservations by phone or online for the 2010 season starting April 3, 2010. The change in date is because we will be closed April 2nd for Good Friday.
The telephone line (1-888-544-3434) will operate from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM (AT) 7 days/week.
There is a non-refundable fee of $9.00 for each reservation. There is a non-refundable $7.00 charge for each change or cancellation.
All Nova Scotia Provincial Parks are alcohol-free from the park opening date until check-out (1 pm) July 5, 2010. Alcohol-free means no alcohol is permitted in the park. Porters Lake and Dollar Lake are alcohol-free for the entire 2010 season.

Even if you have prepaid all site-use fees, you must register with park staff if you have claimed a discount, and/or to pay for any additional people or extra vehicle charges where applicable. Registration also allows park staff to locate you quickly in an emergency. Bring your confirmation letter with you to the park to speed check-in.
Group Camping
Organized Groups will be able to make reservations beginning May 1 by telephoning one of the provincial parks that offer group camping facilities (See list).

Camping Guidelines
Reservation Policy
First time users will be asked to create a Client Profile that will help when making future reservations. The information collected in your Client Profile will be strictly confidential (Privacy Policy) and will not be disclosed to outside parties.
When you make a reservation you will be asked for the following information:
- Provincial Park Name
- Arrival and departure dates
- Number of people in your party
- Size and type of camping equipment
- Eligibility for Senior discount camping rate ($2.13 per night)
- Credit card number and expiry date
- List of preferred parks and campsites
Those wishing to make a telephone reservation will find it useful to go online to view camping park site maps to identify preferred campsites.
